The Trapp Family Lodge is more than just a hotel, it is a family home with years of history in its walls. The von Trapp's family journey began just before WWII when the Baron and Baroness von Trapp left their estate near Salzburg and with 9 children fled to Austria. They later came to the US and turned their passion of singing into a profession and became the Trapp Family singers. Maria von Trapp wrote an autobiography which inspired the play and movie "The Sound of Music".

Situated in beautiful Stowe, Vermont, the Trapp Family Lodge is a unique mountain resort featuring Austrian-inspired architecture and European-style accommodations and cuisine. The lodge features stunning mountain views, old world comforts and activities for every season.
